Dr. Terry Root discusses her research on differences in obstacles faced by men and women in scientific fields, including her own experiences as a Stanford researcher. Dr. Root is a lead author on the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with Al Gore.
